Yarra Tech Group is an Australian workflow practice, based in Melbourne. Our three core industries are compliance-bound mortgage brokerages, real estate agencies, and accounting firms. Australian SMBs from other industries are welcome too. Everything about how we operate follows from that.

Yarra Tech Group was founded on a narrow premise: small Australian practices in compliance-bound industries benefit from workflow automation done operationally, not transformationally. The practice is deliberately small, deliberately specialised, and deliberately anti-hype. If you're looking for a digital transformation partner, we are not the right practice. If you're looking for the team that runs the work between your existing tools, we probably are.

If the platform you already pay for ships the feature natively (Karbon, Salestrekker, Rex), we configure it. Custom work only where the native feature genuinely doesn't cover the brief.

Fixed-scope engagements

Every piece of work has a price, a deliverable, and a timeline written down before it starts. No time-and-materials billing. No change orders for work that wasn't scoped.

Yours at handover

Documentation, credentials, runbook, change log. Delivered on day one of the 30-day stabilisation. No proprietary black boxes. No lock-in to YTG.

Review where it matters

AI modules have a human checkpoint on anything with client, regulator, or financial consequence. We design review surfaces into the build, not as an afterthought when an auditor asks.

We stay after the Build

Every Build ships with a 30-day stabilisation included. Most engagements continue onto an optional monthly Support plan after that. Not mandatory. It's how most of our clients operate long-term.

digital transformation projects. We run operational workflow inside your existing tools. Anything labelled "transformation" belongs elsewhere.

autonomous AI agents on regulated outputs. Every AI module has a human checkpoint. Unreviewed AI on compliance work creates more risk than it removes.

proprietary platforms or YTG stack lock-in. Documentation, credentials, runbook: yours at handover. Replace us without losing institutional memory.

selling you more than you need. The Audit recommends only what the workflow actually requires. If your business isn't ready for one of our services yet, we say so honestly rather than scope it anyway.

tools or industries we have not touched. If your sector or platform sits outside what we have scoped before, we say so at the scoping call.
